We’ve been vacation renters on the Cape for many years, prefer Truro or Wellfleet, can also stay in P-town. We are a (not wealthy) sibling group, some of our grown kids join us. We have two small, well behaved, mellow middle aged dogs who have never been a problem (we used to have a dog we had tp leave at home, we know the difference). We are not big party people, we go to the beach, we lounge at home, we cook a lot and clean up rigorously. We savor the time together, go for walks, kayaking, ride bikes. If there is a midnight meteor shower some of us will head out to the beach. There is nothing rowdy about us.

My husband and our young children come to the Cape every summer to visit elderly aunt and uncle in Dennis. We would love to rent a house with its own beach preferably on a pond. We are looking for 1-2 week rental and our dates are pretty flexible for the month of August.
